At the South End Children's Cafe, our mission is to create a positive impact on food security, address food equity and justice, enhance academic success, and support the physical and mental health of children. We do this through a range of services designed to meet the needs of our community, including homework help services, enrichment programs, and more. The Children's Cafe is a welcoming place where families and children can access a variety of free resources and programs.
Free Healthy Meals
We provide nutritious meals to ensure children have the energy and health to thrive. Our meals are prepared with care, focusing on balanced diets that support overall well-being.
Homework Help and Academic Enrichment
To foster academic success, we offer homework assistance and enrichment activities. Our dedicated volunteers and staff help children complete their homework, improve their skills, and develop a love for learning.
Mentoring

Exercise and Physical Activities
